Wicc'ed
Witchling's Summer Vacation |
As you know, I'm a kid, so my parents want me to do something physically active. I picked synchronized swimming. If you don't know what this is, it's kinda like ballet, but you're in the water with a group of people and you all have to move at the same time. It's hard work!
Recently, we had a meet in Salem... yes--that Salem (Massachusettes)! I didn't have alot of time to do much more than swim, but it reminded me of last summer when I went there and really got to explore!

Mom, me and Kat--the black cat is hiding behind Mom's book!
The last time we were there we went to a place called Salem Vintage Photo. It was alot of fun because we got to dress up like traditional Halloween witches--pointed hats, capes and even props like brooms and crows (and don't forget the black cat!). Don't confuse this with the way real Wiccans dress--personally, I like tee shirts! The photographer made us do different poses, but when he said, "look like you're flying on brooms," we said, "NO WAY!"

Me Samantha and Kat.
We also went to a new store called Hex, visited the Samantha statue, and bought tons of herbs at another shop called Artemesia. And what's a trip to Salem without stopping at Red's Sandwich Shop and getting a pancake as big as your face? Don't take my word for it--we have proof!

That is one BIG pancake!
I hope I get to go someplace cool this summer. Are you going anywhere? Tell me all about it--email me at broomstixforkids@yahoo.com.
Later!
